The Media today sucks!

Ok here is another thing that bothered me about media today.
Some woman calls 911 with a broken accent and exclaims that her son flew away in a flying saucer, the 911 operator requests confirmation of what she was just told but the caller corrects her statement and says her little son climbed into a helium filled weather balloon.
Ok, so we have a claim that a 6 year old boy climbed into a basket beneath a large balloon and is flying out of control through the skies of Colorado.
Granted, the authorities have to take action because it is their job. But the media jumps on the story as if it were an amber alert! There was footage that the parents took of the balloon slipping loose from its tether and flying off WITHOUT A BASKET BENEATH IT!
The fathers acting in the footage really needs some work, he kicks a chair instead of lunging for the strings that were still on the ground as the balloon lifted off.
The balloon itself was a flimsy weather balloon that looked like a cross between a festive mylar balloon and a flying saucer. It appeared to be made to measure temperature at elevated heights but surely could not lift the weight of a human being without showing a pull in its material where a body would be. Meaning: if a boys body was in the balloon in the center, the metallic thin material would sag in the center with a funnel effect.
But instead of doing the math and checking the facts, the media sends its prayers out to poor "Falcon" and the family and then continue to cover the story minute by minute.
When the balloon tore and was half inflated it slowly lowered to earth.
I am no reporter or researcher but after watching an episode of "Mythbusters" where they had to use 16 helium balloons to lift an adult male off of the crust of the earth in a lawn chair, it was clear to me that one balloon just wasn't enough to launch this kid upward.
The media really needs to stop suckling on the popular teat and actually do some research.
All of these bullshit new channels that spend millions of dollars on new technology that can show how many times wolf blitzer sneezes need to go back to basics. We don't need a hologram of a chart or a wall of interactive videos to learn about what is going on in the world.
Sit behind a friggin' desk and read the copy!
Take this metaphor and do what you will with it:
Learn some facts about a pond before you jump in with both feet or else you might get eaten by a crocodile.

Paranormal Thought

I have theories about the paranormal. I think anyone who has experienced things that they couldn't explain would try to rationalize them. But you will just end up coming up with many different theories. This is just one of mine:
Everyone knows that spirits or ghosts are made up of energy.
As is everything that consists in our physical world.
We see shows that search for ghosts and the paranormal under the green lights of nightvision cameras and many other electronic equipment in hopes of capturing the perfect evidence that could never be disputed. Unfortunately what is usually caught is "orbs" or mysterious disembodied sounds or voices.
These are things that skeptics would argue are ambient noise or dust settling.
Sightings of lights or plasma that are reported by people experiencing the paranormal are usually discounted as paranoia or simply because the mind is trying to create reasons for possible hauntings. Like if as person stares at wood grain for long enough, their mind will find faces looking back. Its because the mind has to rationalize and compare the unknown to the known.
But what is not discussed by many nonbelievers is the fact that personal accounts can be the best way of sensing a haunting. Spirits and ghosts might just be able to connect with certain people in a telekinetic way since they consist of one hundred percent energy.
Our brain uses energy when we think or make movements. We can read brain waves when looking for problems in someones mind so why would it be impossible for spirits to use the same brainwaves to make a connection with who it wants to communicate with?
We have living people on earth right now who can communicate using their minds, or read other peoples minds. We have government agencies who experiment with remote viewing, which deals with people seeing locations that are hundreds of miles away using their minds. How is it possible? Brain waves? Maybe.
But if there are four people in a room and they all swear that they were viewing the same apparition and then when they review the video camera and see nothing, it doesn't mean they imagined it in some collaborative sense. It could mean that the magnetic tape on the cassette could not record it since the video camera does not posses any brain waves. EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon is captured on those recorders because sounds travel on a separate set of waves, sound waves.
I wrote this blog to try to get people to think differently. Our universe is a vast and mysterious place. Our thinking on earth consists of decades of experimenting with our own made up math, religions, and science. But these are our techniques. Who is to say that our math or science even makes sense on other worlds or dimensions.
Think outside of the box and you just might surprise yourself.

Learning the hardway that banks don't know banking...

I learned this the hard way a couple of years ago. I was paid for a show with a check.
(I have been DJing for the past 15 years)
So i took the check and put it in my checking out with Washinton mutual bank and was told it would have to go through a seven to ten day verification period before it would be cleared into my account. That's cool with me, I usually never accept checks so any verification they could give me I was willing to wait for.
After ten days I called up the bank and was told that the money is in my account and it is clear for me to access. Great. I took the money out of my account and used it for what it was intended for. Then a week later I went to the bank and noticed my account was NEGATIVE the amount for the check! I called the bank immediately and they told me that the check was a counterfeit check and that it was pulled back.
AFTER THEY GAVE THE CASH TO ME AND SAID IT WAS CLEAR!
They told me it was my responsibility to verify all funds that I receive and put in my account. So the one job Washinton Mutual has (handling money) they can't even do! They want us as regular people to verify a check and money to make sure it is legit.
People without any training in handling money are supposed to catch a counterfeit check when an established bank can't! I contacted the person who gave me the counterfeit check through yahoo messenger and they told me it must've been an accounting error and the check was good but they would send me another check to handle my troubles with Washington Mutual. The new check that arrived was a Bank of America check. I brought it directly to a Bank of America branch and they Immediately knew it was counterfeit. So how can one bank know for a fact that a check is false but then another bank is retarded enough to lie about verification and then pawn it off on me their customer. Saying i should be able to detect counterfeit checks. What?! Really?!
So basically I'm saying burn down washinton mutual banks because basically, they don't do SHIT for the people who trust them with money!
I can put my money under my bed or in a metal box and it would be safer than with Washington mutual bank.
P.S. this all happened just before the recession and the problems with all the banks came out. So my story is just another in a long list of people who find out that banks are run by bureaucracy and not by the people who actually utilize the banking system. I WILL NEVER PAY WASHINGTON MUTUAL BANK THESE FUNDS. I seriously hope they take me to court so i can explain that I would hire a lawyer who knows the law to help me because they know their job, just like we believe banks handle money and know how to. But apparently Banks are just buildings that have miserable liars that work for them. Boycott Washington Mutual bank.
FUCK THEM!
LET THE ECONOMIC COUP D'E TAT BEGIN!
(ok so I guess It would be illegal to have you burn the banks down so lets just say "burn them down" is a metaphor for burning the rules and changing them to make the banks actually liable for the work they should be doing.)
